After marrying his childhood sweetheart he bent Chapter 3.1

Stay away from them

Wen Fan was pulled into a hug, and the familiar clean scent filled his nostrils, a fragrance he had known for many years.

He was taken aback, “Shao Yisui, is that you?”

The man didn’t respond. Slowly, he let go of Sheng Duo, straightened up in embarrassment, and kicked him hard again.

Sheng Duo fell to the ground, coughing painfully, a row of red “piano keys” imprinted on his right cheek.

It was so absurdly funny that Wen Fan couldn’t help but chuckle, though he knew it wasn’t the appropriate time to burst into laughter. So he turned his face away.

Sheng Duo was extremely dizzy, with a nosebleed.

“Who the hell are you?”

Shao Yisui didn’t bother with niceties. His mind was solely focused on the way Wen Fan had been cornered earlier, so he kicked Sheng Duo again.

“Go back and ask your father.”

Sheng Duo seemed to have just gotten a clear view of Shao Yisui’s appearance and didn’t know whether he recognized him or not. Anyway, he stumbled to his feet, wiping his nosebleed.

He still wanted to see Wen Fan, but when Shao Yisui fixed him with a cold gaze, his legs turned weak, and he hurriedly left the piano store.

Soon, the supercar at the door disappeared.

The piano studio fell silent.

Wen Fan wanted to laugh at Sheng Duo’s appearance but refrained. He chuckled, but before he could fully indulge, he felt a tap on his forehead.

Perhaps because he was genuinely upset, Shao Yisui’s touch was a bit forceful.

Wen Fan flinched, but Shao Yisui seemed more agitated than him. His movements softened instantly, but his tone remained harsh.

“Why do you always attract such trash? I haven’t seen you for a few days, and everyone is swarming around you like flies.”

Wen Fan evaded his touch. “What? Stop talking nonsense.”

Shao Yisui didn’t let him go, pulling him close, pinching his cheek, and whispered, “Am I talking nonsense? How many times do they come here? I can’t stand girls chasing after you, and now these men too?”

His tone turned colder, almost disgusted. “There aren’t many decent people in this circle. You don’t understand. If you encounter them again in the future, stay away.”

Wen Fan stopped struggling, blinked, and nodded. “Got it.”

Shao Yisui couldn’t comprehend, but Wen Fan understood perfectly well why he was entangled with these people. They could tell at a glance that he was one of them. His preference for men was a secret to Shao Yisui but not to them.

“If any man dares to touch you again, I’ll deal with him.”

Wen Fan smiled, “Aren’t you a man?”

Shao Yisui pinched his cheek, and at those words, he hugged him tighter, gritting his teeth, “How can you compare me to them? Are you really comparing me to those people?”

There was a particularly sensitive spot on Wen Fan’s waist, and Shao Yisui touched it without hesitation, causing Wen Fan to tremble.

Patting him, Shao Yisui said, “Let go, stop causing trouble.”

Shao Yisui lowered his gaze, glancing at the young man’s red ears, and chuckled, “What’s wrong, Wen Fan? Are you so embarrassed that I hugged your waist?”

Not only that.

Shao Yisui’s voice dropped, sending shivers down Wen Fan’s spine, as if he had been electrified.

Wen Fan pushed him away, breaking free from his embrace.

“So noisy, the cake hasn’t been made yet. Can’t you let me celebrate your birthday?”

“Of course, I’m here to pick you up.”

Wen Fan pushed Shao Yi’s shoulder lightly as he walked out.

“Go drive, I’m closing.”

Shao Yisui ruffled his hair before leaving with satisfaction.

Wen Fan’s hair was of particularly good quality and felt like satin. Shao Yisui loves to play with it.

On the way back, Wen Fan was inexplicably silent, and kept looking at the street scene receding outside the car window.

This was not the first time that something like this happened today. Wen Fan thought that he was calm enough to accept Shao Yisui’s disgust towards homosexuality without changing his expression.

But deep down, he knew he couldn’t. Those words not only pierced through people like Sheng Duo but also him.

Wen Fan had known his sexual orientation early on. He was sure he liked men and had been infatuated with Shao Yisui, his childhood friend, for three years in high school. He was naive back then, always believing that his feelings would someday come to light.

It wasn’t until Shao Yisui took over the Shao family’s power at the age of twenty-four that things changed.

A young man in power inevitably attracted countless admirers, especially someone as outstanding as Shao Yisui. Everyone admired him, men and women alike.

During that time, Shao Yisui collaborated with the Qiao family and encountered a peculiar admirer—the former chairman of Qiao’s, who was fifty-eight years old at the time.

Most elites knew that the old chairman of Qiao liked men. He was very picky and had a fixed preference for tall, robust men like Shao Yisui. However, no one expected him to be so bold. What seemed like mere socializing and drinking on the surface was actually a same-sex gathering.

Wen Fan didn’t know what Shao Yisui witnessed there. All he knew was that the old chairman was hospitalized by Shao Yisui and remained in the hospital for less than six months.

The partnership between the two families was completely shattered. Despite Qiao’s persistence, Shao Yisui relentlessly pursued and eliminated them all.

Wen Fan remembered Shao Yisui’s words at that time: “I’ve never seen such a disgusting circle.”

Later, someone joked about the incident, saying that the impact of the live broadcast was greater than that of a short film, and they were sure that Mr. Shao would be psychologically affected after watching it.

Wen Fan tried to ask, but Shao Yisui always brushed it off, saying it was disgusting and advising him to stay away from that circle and those people. So, Wen Fan never asked again.

That unrequited love ended that year, and he knew it was impossible for him and Shao Yisui to be together.

“What were you thinking about that made you so distracted for so long?”

When Wen Fan snapped out of his reverie, the car had already pulled into the courtyard, and the garage door was slowly opening.

“Why are you still thinking about it? You’ve snapped out of it.”

Shao Yisui parked the car, hooked Wen Fan’s shoulder, and they walked out together. Seeing Wen Fan still silent, he tapped his forehead.

“No.” Wen Fan explained, “I was a bit sleepy on the road. Just needed some fresh air to wake up. You drive so smoothly, it’s almost hypnotic.”

Shao Yisui laughed but didn’t say anything. He twirled Wen Fan’s hair with his fingers.

Wen Fan had been to Shao Yisui’s house many times. As soon as they entered, he changed into slippers with ease. Aunt Liu, wearing an apron, greeted him with a smile.

“Fan Fan’s here.”

Wen Fan smiled back, “Aunt Liu.”

Aunt Liu happily took the items from his hands. “We’ve been looking forward to your visit. Both Mr. Shao and I miss you terribly. It would be wonderful if you could stay here for a few days. The house feels empty without you.”

Aunt Liu came from the Shao family’s old house and was like an elder to both Wen Fan and Shao Yisui, watching them grow up. She used to address him as Mr. Wen, similar to how she addressed Shao Yisui. Wen Fan didn’t like it, so he asked Aunt Liu to call him Fan Fan instead.

Though Aunt Liu complied with his request, she couldn’t seem to shake off using the formal “you” when addressing him.

Wen Fan replied, “I’ll definitely come over and stay when the piano studio isn’t too busy.”

Hearing this, Shao Yisui chuckled and said, “You just came over, and then you are already thinking of leaving? After dinner, I might just lock you in my room.”

Wen Fan gave him a kick while wearing slippers.

It was so gentle that the person didn’t feel any pain from the kick, but instead dropped his slipper.

Shao Yisui raised his eyebrows, and when he stretched out his feet to put on his slippers, he squatted down and snatched them away first.

These slippers are Wen Fan’s, white-rabbit style, soft and clean. Shao Yisui bought a lot of things for Wen Fan when he first bought this residence.

He held the slipper in his one hand and teased Wen Fan: “Want to kick me, right? Just call me Gege and I’ll give you the shoe.”

Wen Fan: “…”

“Shao Yi, please don’t make trouble.”

The man raised his head and lowered his tone, thinking of teasing him.
